From a weather point of view, this long weekend has been mad depressing. Rain, doom and gloom. Never made it to Winter Sound System party, figured I’ll be nasty ass rude to everyone because it’s too effing cold to be social.
Spent the whole of yesterday IN BED. Very satisfying actually. Lying in bed watching telly, eating one too many ice creams at giggling at nothing in particular. Tomorrow, it’s back to reality.
Managed to sell my Guitar Hero World Tour complete band set off on Ebay, most upsetting that I have to part with it. I have barely played the game, what with all the drama going on in my life. Gordon Ramsay on Saturday was magnificent, can’t even begin to describe getting up close and personal with my cooking hero. I LOVE HIM. I don’t care what people say, he is a great chef, all his recipes are fail-proof! I bought 2 of his books, one for mum (fan #2 after me) and one for boy (he’s a budding chef so I figured every chef needs some Ramsay), and it happened that he’d only sign one book per person. The cosmic planets were smiling down on me because there was a fellow fan who needed a book, so I passed her my extra one. Gordon was really sweet, he was asking us how our day’s been and if we enjoyed ourselves. I was shitting myself trying to not grab at him, so I ended up being very quiet and over-smiley. Seriously, the one good thing that came out of the past two years in Melbourne will have to be my appreciation of food. I am a budding epicurean.
So this week as mentioned will be crazy. A lot of plans to put into motion with upcoming move back home. It’s slowly but surely coming together, with a few surprises here and there. Good surprises. My heart is a flitting.
If only the weather will just be semi-amicable. Off to waste away the remains of the long weekend. I think that means doing some research and putting more stuff up on Ebay for sale. Joy oh joy.
